Lunexia Review
In This Review
Wouldn’t it be great if there were a natural, safe, non-habit forming sleep aid that could help you fall asleep faster at night and feel refreshed the morning? There are many products out there that make these claims, but an unfortunate few of them actually deliver. the producers of Lunexia do, in fact, make similar claims about their all natural sleep aid. But the proof is in the pudding, so we decided to review this product in order see if their claims hold water.

Lunexia Ingredients
On the plus side, there are several ingredients on the back of the Lunexia product label that have a well-established reputation for promoting relaxation and helping improve sleep quality. Ingredients such as melatonin, 5-HTP, l-theanine, and l-tryptophan are well-known for helping the body feel sleepy and ready for bed once the lights go down. Other herbal ingredients, such as valerian root, chamomile, lemon balm, and hops work together to increase GABA in the brain. As many studies have shown, the more free floating GABA you have circulating in the brain, the more relaxed and less anxious you feel. When you are feeling more relaxed, and when anxiety isn’t keeping you up at night, you’re much more likely to fall asleep faster and get better quality rest.
Lunexia Side Effects
Although this product markets itself as a sleep aid, we took issue with couple of the alleged sleep-inducing ingredients on the back of their product label. For starters, there’s St. John’s Wort. Generally, this herb is known to help people with problems like anxiety and depression, but not necessarily sleep. Also, according to WebMD, it should be safe to take St. John’s Wort “for up to 12 weeks”, implying that taking the extract for an extended period of time could have negative consequences. Some of the reported side effects of St. John’s Wort include trouble sleeping, restlessness, anxiety, fatigue, and headaches. Call us crazy, but these don’t sound like the type of side effects you would want from an herb that is supposed to help you sleep.
Another questionable ingredient included in the Lunexia formula is l-taurine. the last time we checked, l-taurine was not a common ingredient in most natural sleep aids. As a matter of fact, l-taurine is a very popular ingredient in most energy drinks! Sure, it may be good for overall neurological function which, in theory, might help you sleep better at night. But according to reputable medical sources, this neurological enhancement produces benefits related to cognition, focus, and memory. In our opinion, it doesn’t seem like l-taurine should be on the list of ingredients for any sleep remedy.

Buy Lunexia
The price of Lunexia can vary wildly depending on where and how you purchase it. One 30-day supply on Amazon can cost you around $49.99; meanwhile, the same order purchased through the Lunestia website is a whopping $89.99! But the good news is you can get a discounted price of $59.99 for your first month and $49.99 each month after that – if you are willing to sign up for their auto-ship program without ever having tried the product first. Over the course of a single year, that’s $609.88, and that doesn’t even include shipping, handling, taxes, and other fees.
Oh, and by the way, if you suffer from sleep apnea or snoring, the manufacturers of Lunexia will be happy to sell you a specialized anti-snoring chin strap for the low low price of $129.99. Strangely, though, similar products of comparable quality are readily available on Amazon for less than $15.

Does Lunexia Work?
To Lunexia’s credit, they are up front about the details of their auto-ship program, and many of the ingredients in their sleep aid have been proven by multiple scientific studies to be effective at helping people fall asleep easier and get better quality rest. Unfortunately, those are the most positive things anyone can say about this product and the company that sells it.
We were concerned with some of the ingredients on the product list, specifically St. John’s wort and l-taurine. Those ingredients could possibly do more to keep you up at night tossing and turning then they could help you fall asleep, as one Amazon reviewer points out. Secondly, the wildly inflated price of complementary products, along with the unpredictable pricing of their actual sleep aid, left us with an uneasy feeling. In all honesty, we aren’t 100% percent sure we would recommend this product to people who are struggling nightly to get the quality rest they deserve. Luckily, Lunexia is not the only fish in the sleepless sea.
